17-year-old is a 24-Hour Bell Ringer


ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - You'll find all kinds of people ringing bells at the Salvation Army Kettles this time of year, but you won't find many like 17-year-old Anna Lattos.

Anna is a senior at West Salem High School who is ringing bells for 24 hours straight. Its part of her senior project to learn about people in need. She began volunteering at the Salvation Army, but once she heard some of the stories of the people at the shelter, she decided to do some extra credit and ring for 24 hours straight.

Anna started at ten Thursday morning and will continue ringing at the Onalaska Festival Foods until ten Friday morning.

She looking to reach a one thousand dollar goal.
