La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) – The La Crosse County Board has narrowed down its options for the County Administrative Center.
Three Sixty Real Estate Solutions is interested in buying the facility to turn it into a dorm for Western Technical College.
Selling the building is one option, meaning a new County Administrative building will be built.
The other option is to repair the building and continuing to use it as county office space.
Joe Veenstra, Chair of the Administrative Center Downtown Campus Study Committee said, refurbishing the building would require the facility to be stripped down to the frame.
The county plans to have a final recommendation on whether to sell or refurbish the building by their next meeting on Jan. 7.
