Arcadia police looking for armed robbery suspects


ARCADIA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Arcadia Police and the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department are asking for the public's help in tracking down two men who assaulted and robbed a person at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.

According a release from Arcadia, around 4:45 p.m. as a person was walking their dog on a dead end street, they were approached by a smaller dark purple minivan with tinted windows.  The two men in the van asked for directions. As this was going on, the minivan's passenger got out and  began to physically assault the victim.  He demanded money and credit cards. During the assault, a black handgun was displayed. The men left after taking money from the victim. 

Police describe the suspects as Caucasian, wearing block stocking caps. The driver was described as having a goatee and mustache. The passenger was approximately 5'10" and weighing 160 pounds.

Authorities ask that if anyone has information that helps find the suspects, to please call the Arcadia Police Department at 608-323-3359, ext. 28.
