Arcadia Police are asking for help in Assault Case


Arcadia, WISCONSIN (WXOW) – The Arcadia Police department along with Trempealeau County Sheriff's department is asking for the publics help in an investigation.

Police said on Dec. 17, at about 4:45 p.m., a person was out walking their dog when they were approached by two men who wanted directions.

The men were driving a small, dark, purple mini van with tinted windows.

During the conversation, officers said another man stepped out of the van and physically assaulted the victim. Police said the man showed a black handgun and demanded money and credit cards. After the attack the men fled the City of Arcadia with the money they collected.

Officers said the suspects appear to be Caucasians and they were wearing black stocking caps. One of the suspects, that was driving the van, is described as having a goatee and a mustache. Another suspect, who was in the passenger seat, is described as 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
