Eau Claire, WI (WQOW) - A winter storm could impact at least part of the state on Sunday, dropping several inches of snow and creating dangerous travel conditions.
Stormtracker 18 Weather meteorologists say while it's not clear yet how much snow could fall in the Chippewa Valley and other parts of the state, those with travel plans on Sunday should consider other options, such as traveling on Saturday or later Monday. Several inches of snow could accumulate in southern and eastern Wisconsin, while little to no snow is anticipated in central and northern Minnesota. The Chippewa Valley will be on the cusp of the storm system. A small shift in the storm's track will mean more snow or less snow.
