LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The La Crosse County Tavern League hopes those who have too much to drink will take advantage of its safe ride program this holiday season.
The program offers free taxi rides to anyone who asks for one at any of the county tavern league's bars, including nearly every La Crosse bar.
Wettstein's teamed up with the league to help cover costs by donating an 84-inch screen tv.
The Tavern League will sell raffle tickets for $10 to raise money for the program.
The drawing for the tv will be April 10th, during the Wisconsin Tavern League Convention at the La Crosse Center.
The program provided 7,000 rides in and around La Crosse County.
It cost the league about $70,000, that's why they say they depend on donations from area businesses.
