Vernon County Sheriff's Dept. looking for sign vandals

VIROQUA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The Vernon County Sheriff's Department is looking for the people responsible for damaging a number of road signs earlier this month.

Sgt. Bruce Olson said that on Saturday night on December 7, signs were vandalized in the Townships of Sterling and Franklin south and southwest of Viroqua.

Most of the signs looked like some wrapped a chain around them and pulled them out of the ground.  Many were stop signs.

The Sheriff's Department is hoping someone will come forward about the vandalism.

Here is the information for the Vernon County Sheriff's Office regarding this incident.
