Orlando, FLORIDA (WXOW) Wisconsin is 2-0 in the Capital One Bowl, beating Auburn in the final season under Barry Alvarez, and then the following year, knocking off Arkansas in Bret Bielema's first season as Badgers head coach.
South Carolina, is 1-0 in this bowl.
Quarterback Connor Shaw led the Gamecocks to a win over Nebraska two years ago.
This season, he's accounted for 26 total touchdowns passing and running.
He's a senior leader, and a perfect guy to run Steve Spurrier's diverse offense.
"That's the Steve Spurrier deal, since he's been there he's been the innovator, they have a little bit of everything, they have the spread game, the power run game, they'll throw the ball all over the field, they have a little bit of Ohio State but then at the same time they can pound you, the same way a Michigan State or MInnesota, so that'll be the tough thing, to transfer between all the different styles they can play," said Badgers safety Dezman Southward.
"They kind of just do a little bit of everything, and I guess it's good that we've played all the games we did this year, it's kind of the perfect test to see if we've learned from our mistakes all year because of what this offense is able to do," said Badgers linebacker Ethan Armstrong.
