LA CRESCENT, Minnesota (WXOW) ---------- The journey is complete for Eriah Hayes.
Next time he laces up the skates, it will be in the National Hockey League.
The La Crescent native is being called up to the San Jose Sharks according to sources locally.
C-S-N California.com is reporting that Hayes will join the Sharks in Colorado in time for their game tomorrow.
The Sharks are down a couple of forwards, thus the need for Hayes, who had 5 goals and three assists with Worcester, the Sharks minor league affiliate, this season.
Hayes signed with the Sharks organization last April after a terrific career at Minnesota State Mankato.
