Neal hopes to return to Packers next season

Green Bay, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  Mike Neal is another guy the Packers will have to make a tough decision.

He made a successful transition to outside linebacker and played in every game for the first time in his career.

The Packers have a lot invested in Clay Matthews and Nick Perry though, so they might let Neal test free-agency.

"I've told a couple people in personnel that I've been in the Midwest my whole life. Grew up in Maryville, Indiana, went to Purdue and got drafted here. I don't like to leave. It's what I'm used to and what I'm comfortable with. If they have me back then I'll be glad to be back," Neal said Monday while cleaning out his locker at Lambeau Field.

Neal is a former 2nd round draft pick and one of roughly 20 Packers due to become free agents this off-season.
