LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The woman accused of helping an accused killer flee La Crosse appeared in court for a bond hearing Wednesday afternoon.
Brittany Jones, 23, is charged with harboring a felon. Police allege she helped Mitrel Anderson, 26, flee to Madison after Anderson fatally stabbed another La Crosse man in the head.
A judge previously set Jones' bond at $50-thousand cash. Wednesday, Judge Elliot Levine declined to lower the bond after a request from Jones' attorney.
Prosecutors, who viewed Jones as a high-risk to leave the area if allowed out on bond, agreed with Levine's decision.
