Madison, WISCONSIN (WKOW) The Badgers basketball team is accomplishing things the program hasn't seen in it's history.
Last night, they rattled off a 20-0 run against 23rd ranked Illinois.
The Badgers steam rolled the Illini, 95-70.
It was the largest margin of victory over a ranked opponent in school history.
It was the first time Wisconsin had scored 90 points in regulation of a Big Ten game since 1995.
They are now 16-0 for the first time ever.
The fourth-ranked Badgers are setting new milestones every time they step on the court.
"For the players, what they've accomplished, they've earned. They get the credit, they've put the sweat on the floor. And I'm certainly proud of them. But you know, you start thinking about that too much and it can go the other way in a hurry," said head coach Bo Ryan
"There's a quote we were talking about, a John Wooden quote, don't get caught up in praise or criticism. So that's what we're trying to do right now, don't get too high on ourselves, make sure we stay focused because we know that there's bigger goals down the road that we want to reach," said freshman forward Nigel Hayes.
The Badgers return to action next week Tuesday at Indiana.
