New Auburn man found not guilty of Ft. McCoy theft charges
MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A New Auburn man is found not guilty of stealing items from Fort McCoy.
A jury in federal court in Madison found Justin Waterhouse not guilty on four charges related to the theft of night vision monoculars and gun sights from the fort in February, 2012 while a member of the U.S. Army. He was also accused of selling some of the items.
He was indicted May, 2012 on the theft charge and three counts of selling the items.
Waterhouse's trial was Monday and Tuesday.
