EYOTA, Minnesota (WXOW) -- Authorities say four people were involved in a weekend crash involving a snow plow on I-90 near Eyota that seriously injured an Onalaska man.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened at about 2:49 p.m. Saturday near the Dover-Eyota exit in the eastbound lanes of I-90.
Investigators say a Ford panel van attempted to pass a semi-trailer truck, and ended up rear-ending a snow plow.
David Hanson, 51, was driving the panel van and was transported to Saint Mary's Hospital with serious injuries.
A passenger in his car, David Konopacki, 50, also of Onalaska, suffered non life-threatening injuries and was also transported to Saint Mary's. Their conditions are not known as of midday Monday.
The driver of the snowplow, Eric Patzner of Eyota, was not injured.
The State Patrol says traffic was limited to one lane in that area of I-90 for several hours following the crash.
