La Crosse, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Kwik Trip Inc., has continued development of its industry leading fueling natural gas infrastructure for cars in the first quarter of 2014.
The company opened two new Compressed Natural Gas sites in Eagan, Minn. and De Pere, Wis.
Kwik Trip opened its first CNG location in April of 2012 and has since continued to develop an infrastructure of 22 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.
Pricing at each of the stations is between $1.59 and $1.89 per GGE.
The company is looking to expand into new markets. Waterloo, Iowa, Wausau, Wis. and Menominee, Wis. will have sites opened in the coming months.
Kwik Trip plans to continue its development this year, and will include 10-15 new CNG locations.
As a privately held company, Kwik Trip has taken on the task to expand its fuel offerings using only its own internal resources and expertise. By bringing natural gas to the market, Kwik Trip has positioned itself to provide a better, more affordable fueling solution to the public.
