LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse has received a grant to continue to help families in need.
A check of $4,000 was presented Tuesday evening on behalf of Quillins and Hartland Fuel Products. It's all part of the BP Fueling Communities program that provides gifts to local organizations that are nominated by businesses in their community.
"Its a community collaboration where you have two businesses coming together and doing something together for the benefit of a non-profit and this year they've chosen the Boys and Girls Club to be the beneficiary of this collaboration between Quillins and Hartland Fuels," says Boys & Girls Club Executive Director, Mike Desmond.
The proceeds will be used for the Boys & Girls Clubs Adoptive Child Program to help families with membership and activity fees.
