LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW)- The La Crosse Rotary Club Ethics Committee is set to sponsor the 3rd annual Responsibility Retreat for area high school students.
With help from local school administrators, the Responsibility Retreat is held on January 28th at 8:30am in the Lunda Center at Western Technical College.
It is free to roughly 200 juniors from 12 area high schools.
The retreat is lead by the non-profit, St. Paul organization Youth Frontiers. The organizations focus for the program is ethics, leadership, and how these core values may be implemented into the student's school and daily lives.
"The Responsibility Retreat has inspired our students to grow in their leadership potential and to serve as positive role models for their peers. The Retreat serves as a wonderful example where Rotary and our schools share a common interest of investing in our students to help them develop their leadership skills in order to serve and help others in their school, community and beyond," says Holmen District Administrator, Dale Carlson.
