La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) Calahan Skogman led a blistering offensive attack for the UW-La Crosse basketball team in their 88-83 win over 7th ranked UW-Whitewater at Mitchell Hall Wednesday night.
Skogman 22 points and 11 rebounds as the Eagles shot 62.5% from three-point range.
Braden Tice and Lucal Collom had 16 points each and Trent Schmidt had 20.
The Eagles improved to 11-6 and 5-3 in the WIAC.
"Coming into tonight we had a lot of confidence. We believe in one another. We knew that if we played our style and played our game that we're going to be really tough to beat here, especially here. It was a great game for us. We were able to play strong, and we knocked them off," said Skogman.
The Eagles host top-ranked UW-Stevens Point Saturday.
