Walker visits La Crosse to push prosperity proposals

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - As part of a day traveling around the state to gather support for the proposals he raised in his State of the State speech Wednesday, Governor Scott Walker is making a stop in La Crosse Thursday morning.

Walker will be touring Xetec, Inc. as part of his Blueprint for Prosperity tour around 9:30 a.m.

He's also scheduled several other stops in Madison, De Pere, and Hurley to speak to organizations and businesses about his plans.

Those include what to do with a projected $911 million surplus, tax cuts, and job growth proposals outlined in his annual speech before the legislature and state officials in Madison.
