Democrat posts profanity over Walker speech

Posted: Updated:

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A Democratic state representative from Milwaukee was so disgusted with Gov. Scott Walker's State of the State speech she posted a profane message on her Facebook account.

Rep. Christine Sinicki's wrote Wednesday night "OMG...this speech is so full of (expletive). Wish I could get up and walk out."

The Wisconsin State Journal reported Thursday that Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos called on Sinicki to apologize. Vos says she should be embarrassed.

But Sinicki says she has every right to feel the way she does, adding that she was simply voicing her frustration and she would never actually walk out on the speech.

When Democrats were asked about Sinicki's comments during a news conference after Walker's speech, Assembly Democratic Minority Leader Peter Barca said, "We prefer to take substantive questions."
