MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot State University has named three finalists for the school's head football coach opening.
They are Wayne State defensive coordinator Mike Aldrich, former Minnesota State-Mankato head coach and University of South Dakota offensive coordinator Todd Hoffner, and Wisconsin-Stevens Point offensive coordinator Aaron Vlcko.
Vlcko is scheduled to interview Saturday, while Hoffner will be on campus Monday and Aldrich on Tuesday.
More than 100 people applied for the Minot State opening. The new coach will replace Paul Rudolph, who resigned on Jan. 2 after seven seasons to become the offensive coordinator at the University of North Dakota.
