LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- LieutenantGovernor Rebecca Kleefisch held a round table at Western Tuesday morning. It focused on tax reform.
The Lieutenant Governor says the purpose of the discussions with the public is to get a sense of their concerns when it come to taxes. She says there are common themes from mostof the attendees.
"Themes like the tax burden overall is just too much," Lt. Gov. Kleefisch said. "The taxes are too high in this state. And then on top of that, taxes are too complicatedin this state. So we're working on those two things and what we'd like to do is continue to collect ideas and thoughts so we can compile them and present them to the governor for some robust tax reform."
Tuesday's roundtable is part of a tax reform statewide tour that Gov. Walker and Lt. Gov. Kleefisch launched.
