LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) Calahan Skogman's two free throws with six seconds left lifted the UW-La Crosse basketball team to a 66-56 win over UW-Oshkosh Wednesday night at Mitchell Hall.
The Eagles had to rally from a 13 point first half deficit.
Skogman tied the game at 64 with under a minute left before Alex Olson hit one free throw with 19 seconds left to give Oshkosh the lead.
Skogman was then fouled on a drive to the hoop.
The Eagles opened the second half on an 11-2 run to help get back in it and secure their 7th straight win over the Titans.
Skogman had 20 points.
Lucas Collom had 22 points and 9 rebounds to lead UW-L, which improves to 6-4 in the WIAC and 12-7 overall.
"In the first half we really got away from what we're known for. We're known for getting that drive, getting that kick, getting to the hoop. In the first half, our movement wasn't there, and so in the second half we got our movement going, the lanes opened up and we got to the rack on them," Collom said.
