Nine people believed dead in Kentucky fire


GREENVILLE, KY (WXOW) -- Crews battle a house fire in western Kentucky where as many as nine people have died.

Greenville Assistant Fire Chief Roger Chandler says the fire was reported around 2:00 Thursday morning.  Eleven people lived at the home.

A hospital spokeswoman says two people were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, an adult and a child.  She was not able to release any information as to their conditions.
