VIROQUA, Wis. (WXOW) – A high speedchase ends with the arrest of a teenager wanted in two counties on a warrant for missing court.
Vernon County deputies saw a suspicious vehicle at theend of Hoover Road in the Town of Wheatland Saturday morning. During theinvestigation, they learned the vehicle belonged to Heidi Frawley ofDe Soto, who had a felony arrest warrant. At the time, Frawley was notin her car.
A short time later a deputy returned tothat same area to find Frawley driving away from the scene. Officials said the deputy tried to stop Frawley's vehicle nearDe Soto, but she refused to pull over. Instead, authorities saidFrawley sped into Crawford County at speeds varying between 25 and 70 milesper hour.
Deputies were able to deploy spike strips in front of Frawley just south of State Highway27/82 in the Town of Franklin that deflated the vehicle's tires which forced her vehicle to finally stop.
She was then taken into custody. She isexpected in court Monday, Feb. 3.
Frawley was currently out on court bond in Vernon and La Crosse counties. She failed to appear in court which led to the felony arrest warrant.
