Badgers searching for answers

MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW)  Just a few weeks ago the Badgers were flirting with the top spot in the Associated Press poll.

This week, they're not even in it.

Wisconsin left out of the latest AP Top 25.

The frustration of losing five out of six games is becoming visible.

Before the Ohio State game Sam Dekker was especially candid with the media voicing his frustration with the team's lack of effort on the floor, saying they were playing soft.

Dekker didn't quite back up his words, scoring 4 points in the loss Saturday.

"He's got to play better? Is that what Sam said he's got to play better? I don't know.  I didn't hear anything Sam said. Ask him how it worked for him.  You'd have to ask him because I wouldn't know. Say 'hey Sam, how'd that work for you?" said head coach Bo Ryan.

The Badgers play at Illinois Tuesday night.
