Onalaska police looking for armed robbery suspect

ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW) - Authorities are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery in Onalaska Friday morning.

Onalaska Police said the robbery happened at 10:15 when a black male, dressed in black clothes, entered the Check 'N Go at 2928 Marketplace in Onalaska.  Police said the suspect showed a gun to a Check 'N Go employee and demanded money. The employee complied. The man then fled the store in a vehicle.

As of 2:30 p.m., police said they're still looking for the suspect and vehicle.

Anyone with information concerning this robbery is advised to call the Onalaska Police Department at (608) 781-9550.

Onalaska Police responded and aided by La Crosse, West Salem, Bangor and the County Sheriff's Office, the area was searched for the suspect.
