LACROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - TheFranciscan Healthcare Auxiliary's 27thannual Tiny Tim Gala Benefit and Jingle Bell Brunch raised $42,000for local health-related charities.
The programs that will benefit from the fundraiser include; The La Crosse Area boys and Girls Club, The Salvation Army, The La Crosse County Health Department, The La Crosse Chapter of the National Alliance of Mental Illness and The Franciscan Health Auxiliary.
Since its debut in 1987, Tiny Tim has raised more than $950,000 in support of area organizations who share the Auxiliary'sinterest in healthy communities and a high quality of life.
Acheck presentation to the beneficiaries will be held at theFranciscan Healthcare Auxiliary's luncheon on Wednesday, February12.
The 28th annual Tiny Tim events will be heldNovember 15-16, 2014 at The Waterfront Cargill Room in downtown LaCrosse.
