Onalaska Police investigating sexual assault


ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW) –The Onalaska Police Department is investigating a sexual assault in an apartment Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to an apartment building shortly after 1:00p.m. in the 400 block of Quincy St.

They were responding to a report that an unidentified man had enteredthe residence, bound and sexually assaulted the female inside.

Officials said the female's boyfriend was in the apartment at thetime of the assault but did not hear or see the assailant.

As investigators continue to look into the incident, police tell WXOW they don't believe that there isany danger to the general public.
