La Crosse, WIS. (WXOW) --------- Day 2 of the Wisconsin State Snowboarding Championships took place at Mount La Crosse on Sunday.
Central-Logan's Jack Pretasky recorded the top spot in the Men's Boarder Cross Final with a combined time of 46.36. That 1st place finish propelled him to the gold as the Central-Logan Junior wins the Men's Snowboarding State Title.
Right behind Pretasky, was Aquinas-Onalaska-West Salem's (AOWS) Austin Fellenz. He took 2nd in the Boarder Cross with a time of 48.05. Fellenz takes home the silver medal.
Today was the first day of both Men's and Women's Ski Races.
Central-Logan dominated the day. Men skiers, led by Eric Johnson who took 1st, placed four racers in the top 5 of the Giant Slalom Competition. For the women, Junior Abby Leinfelder won both the Super G and Slalom races.
Skiing picks up again Monday, with Central-Logan leading going into the day.
