LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - A La Crosse man charged with a fatal stabbing at the Cass Street Kwik Trip last summer appeared in court Monday.
25-year old Mitrel Anderson is charged with intentional homicide in the death of 24-year old Demario Lee.
On Monday, prosecutors questioned two investigators in the case, asking them about injuries Anderson had after the altercation.
Anderson's attorneys are arguing he used self-defense against Lee.
The state is also attempting to have the court allow information at trial of Anderson's past convictions at another hearing next Thursday, February 27.
Anderson's trial is scheduled to start on June 9.
