Winona's Fastenal parts make winning sled

SOCHI, Russia (FOX 47) --A Winona company famous for their shiny hardware has played a big part in bringing home Olympic hardware for a U.S. skeleton racer.

31-year-old Noelle Pikus-Pace snapped up a silver medal on Friday in women's skeleton, sliding on a sled with parts made and manufactured by Winona-based Fastenal.

Pikus-Pace visited the Fastenal factory in November of last year.

The winning sled was designed by her husband.
