LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) ------The third and final day at the State Ski and Snowboarding Championships proved to be a Red Ranger day as Central / Logan claims every individual title at the meet.
Eric Johnson was the boys overall champion, he won both the Slalom and the Giant Slalom while placing 3rd in the Super G. "It feels great. I had some troubles and fell the last couple years in basically the same spot. I've been practicing a lot on that spot and just kind of pulled it off this year," said Johnson.
His team Alexander Harris won the Super G event and finished 2nd overall as an individual. The Central/Logan boys won the team title.
In the girls events, Central / Logan Junior Abby Leinfelder made it a clean sweep. Leinfelder won the Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super G.
"I felt super nervous coming into today because I don't know the last time someone swept all 3 events, so it felt really good. My teammate coming to hug me when I'm done, it was awesome!," said Leinfelder.
