Coulee Region police "go wild" for Special Olympics

ONALASKA, Wis. (WXOW)- Police officers from the area , Coulee Region Police Officers are “Going Wild” for the 4th annual “Cops Gone Wild” Special Olympics Fundraiser.

The event runs from Noon to 8:00 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in Onalaska.

Officers will greet diners and help the wait staff serve to raise money for the Special Olympics and Special Olympic athletes.

There will also be police cars on display and the Onalaska Police Reserve will be issuing child identification cards to families who are interested.

A child ID card is helpful in the event a child goes lost or missing. The ID has a photo and description of the child. Parents can keep this card with them and quickly provide police with information if there is an emergency.

Plus, officers will compete in a wing eating contest that begins at 5:00 p.m.
