Sex Offender to be released into the La Crosse Community

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - The La Crosse Police Department wants the public to know about a sex offender that will be released Saturday, Feb. 22.

Michael J. Engebretson, 39, will be living at 410 West Ave. S. St., La Crosse.

Engebretson was convicted of exposing a child to harmful materials.  He has served his sentenced and is not a threat to the public.  Engebretson is required to have face to face contact with law enforcement and must register with the WI Sex Offender Registration Program until 2029.
