WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State men's basketball team will host Minot State Wednesday at 7 pm in the opening round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament.
The Warriors earned the second seed in the NSIC South after going 18-4 in conference play and 23-6 overall. Minot State is the seventh seed in the NSIC North with a league record of 4-18 while going 8-18 overall during the regular season.
The Warriors earned a 78-64 win over the Beavers on Jan. 11 in Winona, with four WSU starters scoring in double figures.
The final three rounds of the conference tournament will be held in Sioux Falls, SD, beginning with quarterfinal action on March 1. Semifinals will be played on March 3 with the championship game held at 7:30 pm on March 4.
