Winona teacher makes the latest cut for Teacher of the Year


ST. PAUL, Minn. (WXOW) -- A Winona High School teacher is one of the semifinalists for Teacher of the Year in Minnesota.

Special education teacher Lora Hill is one of 33 to make the cut for the honor. 

The panel will meet again in late March to select about 10 finalists from among the group of semifinalists.

Teachers' union Education Minnesota organizes and underwrites the Teacher of the Year program.

The winner will be announced at a banquet on May 4.
