7th candidate enters Wisconsin treasurer race

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WXOW) Wauwatosa Republican Matt Adamczyk has become the 7th candidate to file for election as state treasurer and the second Republican candidate seeking the office.

Adamczyk stated the main platform of his campaign would focus on working with the legislature to eliminate the state treasurer position as well as exposing other wasteful government spending.  "I believe the Office of State Treasurer is a perfect example of unnecessary and inefficient government spending and I will work with the legislature to eliminate the office," explained Adamczyk.

Adamczyk has made five pledges to the residents of Wisconsin if elected.  One of them being to use position to find and eliminate government waste. "I not only pledge to eliminate the office, but I also will work with Governor Walker and the legislature to identify and eliminate fraud and wasteful spending in other areas of government," said Adamczyk.

Adamczyk launched his campaign with the support of a very strong list of conservative leaders all over the state.
