Two La Crosse teens arrested following home invasion

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – Two La Crosse teens are arrested in connection with a home invasion.

According to the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department, they responded to an alarm at a home on Southdale Drive, in the Town of Shelby around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

When deputies arrived at the home, they found a window to the front door broken and the suspects still inside. Officers said the suspects attempted to escape several times, but ran back inside the home. A Onalaska Police K9 Unit was brought in to assist in searching the home. During the search, the Sheriff's Department said the two teens were found hiding, both were bitten by the K-9 and taken into custody.

Michael Fuseilier, 17, and William McCullough, 18, are being charged with burglary, criminal damage to property and possession of burglary tools, all while armed making the offenses felonies. They are also facing a trespassing charge. In addition, McCullough is charged with striking a police dog which is a misdemeanor.

Both are jailed on $10,000 cash bonds.
