WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- Five people were arrested near Stewartville last week after allegedly shoplifting from the Winona Walmart more than 50 miles away.
The Minnesota State Patrol says officers stopped a vehicle the five were in near the intersection of Interstate 90 and U.S. 63. on Thursday at about 1:15 a.m.
Officials at the Winona County Jail say about $8,000 worth of merchandise was taken from Walmart.
Felony theft charges were referred against Terry Maurice Hodges, 52, Shaun Diante Martin, 31, Jennie Earlean Johnson, 25, Tashanda Jean Boclair, 27, and Marquita Yvonne Maxwell, 23.
