"A Peace of My Mind", exhibit exploring the meaning of peace

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW)- John Noltner, an award winning photographer and author from Minnesota, is exploring the meaning of peace.

During the past 5 years, Noltner spoke to people throughout the United States about what peace meant to them.  Noltner had asked the same question, "What does peace mean to you?" to all 50 individuals.  Their answers have opened up a unique dialogue that illuminates the common good that connect us.

He then captured their definition in a photo along with a brief biography about each individual.  These portraits are what create his exhibit, "A Peace of My Mind."

The community is invited to view the exhibit throughout its run from now until March 30 at the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center.
