NEW INFORMATION: Police issue arrest warrants in drug investigation

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) --- The Vernon County Sheriff's Department has identified 3 people wanted on drug charges as they continue their investigation we first told you about Wednesday. 

The three suspects are in addition to the arrests of two people made by a combination of Vernon County and La Crosse Police officers after raiding a northside apartment around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.  

The suspects are 32-year-old Derrick Knox, 29-year-old Ernest Knox, and 22-year-old Eric Knox. Vernon County Sheriff John Spears said that people who see any of these men are asked to call their local authorities or the Vernon County Sheriff's Office at 608-637-2123.

The two people were arrested in connection with what police said is part of a drug ring operating in La Crosse. Police also say the two men have gang ties and are believed to be from the Milwaukee area.

News 19 brought you an exclusive report on the drug raid Wednesday. La Crosse Police worked alongside the Vernon County Sheriff's Department because the case started in Stoddard.
