Ona girls deliver major comeback to advance to the finals


MADISON, Wis. (WXOW)  The Onalaska Co-op girls hockey team rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat the St. Croix Valley Fusion 4-3 in overtime Friday in the WIAA State Semifinals.

Chazlyn Anderson's goal at 4:02 into the overtime was the difference.

The Hilltoppers entered the 3rd period in down 3-0.

The Theresa Knutson, Jacyn Reeves and Anderson scored goals in a 7 minute span to tie the game.

Knutson assisted on three goals as well.

Onalaska advances to the state championship game for the third year in a row.

They will play the Bay Area Ice Bears Saturday at noon in a game you can see live on WXOW 19 and wxow.com.
