LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) A court appearance Friday for two men arrested during a drug raid in La Crosse.

James Washington and Aaron Thompson were arrested Wednesday at an apartment on the Northside.

WXOW had exclusive coverage of the raid and arrests.

Police said Thompson and Washington were manufacturing crack-cocaine inside the apartment.   Large amounts of cash were discovered by investigators. There were also cell phones and walkie talkies found which police said are typical of bigger drug operations.

Friday, Washington was released on a $5,000 bond.  Thompson remains in jail on a $20,000 bond.

The Vernon County Sheriff's Department and La Crosse Police worked together as part of an ongoing investigation into a larger drug operation.  Both departments said they've been following the activity of a group of people who are originally from outside the area.

Police said they are still looking for three other suspects in connection with the drug raid.  Derrick Knox, 32, Ernest Knox, 29, and Eric Knox, 22.  Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call local law enforcement.
