Sheriff's department is asking for help to locate dog

VIROQUA, Wis. (WXOW) – The Vernon County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating a stolen dog.

The department said a small, black and white Shih Tzu-Pekinese dog was reported stolen between around 3:00 p.m. on February 23.

 The owner said the dog was taken in the area of State Highway 35 and Gantenbein Road just north of De Soto.

The dog has a white stripe down its back and belly and the tip of the tail is white.

Anyone with information on this case call 608-637-8477. The owner of the dog is offering a reward for the safe return of his pet.
