MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) So much of the NCAA Tournament is about the luck of the draw.
The Badgers have to be feeling pretty lucky on St. Patrick's Day.
The tourney journey begins Thursday in Milwaukee against American University.
The Eagles just won the Patriot League Tournament.
They're 20-12 on the season.
They run the Princeton offense, which is difficult to defend if you haven't played against it.
The Badgers have turned to an unlikely source for pointers, Zach Bohannon.
The senior ran a Princeton-style offense at Air Force before transferring to Wisconsin.
He gave the team a brief tutorial immediately after the selection show.
"This is my last go round. I don't have much else of a career after this. I know I'm not going to be playing basketball after the NCAA Tournament is over. I know I probably won't be playing much in the NCAA Tournament. So, it's one of those things where I just want to do everything I can to help the team get better," Bohannon said.
"If he doesn't become President, I think he'll be a pretty good coach if he decides to do that and give up his life as a politician," said Badgers assistant coach Greg Gard.
The Badgers and Eagles play at 11:40am Thursday in Milwaukee.
