COON VALLEY, Wis. (WXOW) – Two people are injured in a collision in the Town of Coon Valley Wednesday.
The Vernon County Sheriff's department said Karisa Timmerman, 23, from La Crosse was driving near Vang Road when she lost control of her car on snow and slush. Officers said Timmerman's vehicle crossed the centerline striking Randall Brueggeman, 48, and his pickup truck. Timmerman's vehicle then caught fire, but it was quickly extinguished.
The Sheriff's Department said both driver were wearing seat belts and had minor injures.
The accident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office.
