LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Alternate side parking ends Monday night in the City of La Crosse.
The rules are in place Nov. 1 through April 1 each year.
From Nov. 1, 2013 to April 1, 2014 police said they issued 17,277 tickets for violating the parking regulations. That's compared to 15,843 citations issued the year before.
If drivers fail to follow parking rules, they face a fine of $10 for their first and second violations, and up to a $40 fine for their sixth or more violations within a six month period, according to police.
