Big turnout expected for cancer research benefit walk

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) - Hundreds of people are expected to be at Quincy's South Park Saturday to help find a cure for a deadly form of skin cancer.

The annual Aim at Melanoma walk starts at 9 a.m., with registration at 8 a.m.

Free skin cancer screenings will be available and all proceeds from the walk benefit malanoma research.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the U.S.
