LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – La Crosse Logan High School held their 14th annual antique show over the weekend to raise money for the school’s band program.
All proceeds from the event will help the band programs pay for instruments, send students to all-state band camps, and two $500 scholarships.
Logan Band Director Mark Lakmann said he expected to see as many as 1,500 visitors over the weekend. Roughly 30 antique dealers from Wisconsin and Minnesota sold glassware, jewelry, and sports memorabilia among many other items.
“Our dealers love this show because the kids help them. That’s the main draw for our dealers. They don’t get help coming in and out of any other show they do, and here they have all the students help them,” Lakmann said.
Lakmann said roughly 100 students from the band program helped dealers out this weekend.
